Who we are

At Magaras Asia, we follow a structured and proven process that enables international fashion brands to successfully enter and expand in Southeast Asia. This region is one of the fastest-growing fashion markets worldwide, but it is also complex and fragmented, with very different dynamics across countries like Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines. Brands need more than a distributor – they need a partner who can act as their commercial office and one-stop fashion agency in the region.

As a One-Stop Fashion Agency, we manage the entire journey: from brand scouting and selection, to representation agreements, to strategic launches during the Southeast Asia Fashion Week, and finally to ongoing sales, logistics, and market development. Our role goes far beyond simple introductions. We represent the brands we select, we act as their ambassadors, and we ensure they reach the right buyers, department stores, multi-brand retailers, marketplaces and duty-free operators.

This integrated approach means that your brand doesn’t just arrive in Southeast Asia – it secures a real position in the market, builds long-term partnerships with qualified buyers, and achieves measurable commercial growth.

Our Approach

Below are the steps we follow to select the brand partners we work with.

Step 1 – Brand Selection

We carefully select brands with the highest potential for Southeast Asia. Buyers are often part of the selection process, reviewing catalogues in advance before meeting brands in person at our events.

 

Step 2 – Representation Agreement

Once selected, we become your local partner. Through a representation agreement, we act as your commercial office in Southeast Asia, managing negotiations, sales, and operations.

Step 3 – Strategic Launch at SEA Fashion Week

The Southeast Asia Fashion Week (SEAFW) is our signature B2B trade show and the official launchpad for new brands. It is the moment when buyers can finally see, touch, and evaluate collections face-to-face with the brand.

Step 4 – Buyer Engagement & Feedback

After SEAFW, we consolidate buyer feedback and move quickly into commercial discussions. We coordinate shipments, pop-ups, trunk shows, and private events to test and scale each collection in the market.

Step 5 – Market Entry & Growth

We manage the full expansion process: logistics, distribution, retail activations and marketing. From department stores to marketplaces, from duty-free to shop-in-shop, we execute a strategy that protects your brand’s equity and drives real orders.
